These terms apply to all users of the Platform, including buyers, sellers, resellers, and visitors.

2. User Accounts

2.1 Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• One person or business may only maintain one account

2.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our terms

3. Buyer Terms

3.1 Purchases

• All purchases are subject to product availability
• Prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include applicable taxes
• Payment must be completed before order processing
• Orders cannot be modified after payment confirmation

3.2 Returns and Refunds

• Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery
• Products must be unused and in original packaging
• Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days

4. Seller Terms

4.1 Seller Obligations

• Provide accurate product descriptions and images
• Maintain adequate inventory levels
• Process orders within 24 hours
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4.2 Prohibited Items

• Counterfeit or fake products
• Illegal or restricted items
• Weapons and dangerous materials
• Stolen goods
• Adult content or services

4.3 Commission and Fees

• DropCart Africa charges a 10% commission on each sale
• No listing fees or monthly charges
• Payouts are processed weekly

5. Reseller Terms

• Resellers earn commission by promoting products from sellers
• Commission rates range from 10% to 15% based on sales volume
• Resellers must not misrepresent products or make false claims
• Commission is paid weekly with a minimum payout of ₦5,000

6. Intellectual Property

All content on DropCart Africa, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of DropCart Africa or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• Sellers retain ownership of their product images and descriptions
• By listing products, sellers grant us a license to display their content

7. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8. Limitation of Liability

DropCart Africa acts as a marketplace connecting buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for:

• Quality, safety, or legality of products listed
• Accuracy of product descriptions provided by sellers
• Ability of sellers to complete transactions
• Ability of buyers to pay for purchases
• Delivery delays caused by third-party logistics providers

9. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes between buyers and sellers:

• Contact our customer support team for mediation
• We will investigate and attempt to resolve disputes fairly
• Our decision in disputes is final and binding
• Legal action should be pursued in Nigerian courts

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms and Conditions
• Engage in fraudulent activities
• Receive excessive customer complaints
• Fail to meet performance standards

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
